The first aid course was given by personnel from the Municipal Unit of Civil Protection and Firefighters of Puerto Vallarta.
During three days, personnel from different areas of the International Convention Center of Puerto Vallarta (CICPV) received a training course in basic first aid and fire control by personnel from the Municipal Unit of Civil Protection and Firefighters of this port city.
In this regard, the director of the fairgrounds, Magaly Fregoso Ortiz stressed the importance of all staff having the minimum knowledge to know what to do in case of any contingency, and in turn acknowledged the interest of the staff to receive this type of training.
During the Basic First Aid course, which lasted a total of 12 hours, personnel were trained on: bleeding, immobilization of the injured, fire prevention and control, fire extinguishing methods, fire classification, use and handling of fire extinguishers, types of fire extinguishers, among other topics.
The course was given by paramedic Daniela Lizbeth García Cárdenas, firefighter Eduardo Enrique Rodríguez Flores and cadet Ricardo Aldair Secundino Mendoza, from the Municipal Unit of Civil Protection and Firefighters of Puerto Vallarta, who has been transmitting his knowledge for several years in the different training courses he gives.
He emphasized that the purpose of this training is to ensure that the personnel working at the site are prepared and can adequately deal with an emergency situation both in the workplace and on public roads.
